This weekend, the Charlotte region will be packed with festivals, concerts, shows, and more fireworks than you can handle.

Here are the top 10 that we know of happening over the next few days:

#1 Celebrate America! at Symphony Park

SouthPark’s biggest Independence Day celebration is returning this year at Symphony Park. Join the official Charlotte Symphony for a rousing salute to America with a night of patriotic favorites and tunes that celebrate America’s unique musical traditions — all topped off with a spectacular fireworks finale.

#2 Concert in the Park w/ Fireworks

Kannapolis will be going all out for to celebrate Independence Day this summer with live music from the Charlotte Symphony, food trucks, and an epic firework show.

This will be free to the public and food and drinks will be sold during the events. Coolers are allowed with no outside alcohol.

#3 Alicia Keys

15-time Grammy winning singer-songwriter, musician, writer, and actor, Alicia Keys is coming back to Charlotte this weekend for an epic live performance this Sunday night in Uptown’s Spectrum Center.

#4 Grand Carnivale at Carowinds

Come to Carowinds this coming Friday through Monday to experience how the world kicks up its heels at our day-to-night, larger-than-life international celebration. #5 A Star Spangeled Weekend in Charlotte

LIQUID PLEASURE CONCERT Saturday, July 1st, 7-10pm

THE JOLLY LOLLIES  Sunday, July 2nd, 1pm

The Jolly Lollies specialize in children’s entertainment and provide an interactive performance where crowds are encouraged to play and sing along! They bring people together through music and imagination and create a magical experience for both kids and adults alike!

On Sunday, July 2nd, there will be face painters and balloon animal twisters from 12 – 3 pm on site!

#7 CONCACAF Gold Cup in Uptown Charlotte

The Confederation of North, Central America, and Caribbean Associated Football (Concacaf) will be playing a rare double header this weekend in uptown Charlotte.

The matches are slated for Sunday, July 2, at the Bank of America Stadium. The game between the United States and Trinidad & Tobago is set to commence at 7:00 pm, followed by the Honduras versus Haiti match at 9:00 pm.

This will be the first time ever the US Men’s National Team (USMNT) will play in Charlotte.

#9 Friday Night Live in Belmont

This Friday Night check out tons of food trucks, vendors, and America’s #! Zac Brown Tribute Band, 20 RIDE, is American Country/Folk music at its finest.

#10 Charlotte Knights vs Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and SkyShow

SkyShow, the biggest fireworks display in the southeast, is set to illuminate Charlotte’s skyline once again after a live game between the Charlotte Knights and the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at Truist Field.

On Tuesday, July 4th, 2023, the first pitch is thrown at 6:35 p.m., and the fireworks will follow the end of the game.
