Here’s one of the latest stories from Camp Lejeune:
“My husband went to the logistics school on Camp Johnson. Driving down the road early in the morning, he said that he saw a man who looked like Mark Twain lecturing marines there. He thought he hallucinated it, or maybe it was a ghost. Driving on Camp Johnson it is always eerily quiet. There’s definitely a presence there at the base. Electronics do not work properly. It’s a very eerie feeling. We have heard stories. A friend, who had to stand duty once on Camp Johnson, heard footsteps around the corner. He went to check it out and saw a marine in an older uniform standing there. The marine sidestepped him as he continued walking and slowly disappeared.” – Tara
