Roaring Riot, the largest fan club for the Carolina Panthers, has just announced their first Roaring Riot Kickoff Jam on Saturday, September 16th at Noda Brewing North End.
The event will feature live music, autograph signings with Panthers Legends, football activation stations, food trucks, good beer, and a lively atmosphere that celebrates the start of Carolina’s home schedule and the camaraderie that comes with being a fan community.
Roaring Riot Kickoff Jam 2023 boasts an exciting lineup of musical talents, with headliners Better Than Ezra and Arrested Development taking the stage. Embracing the 90s theme, in line with the Riot’s membership theme this year, the event promises a nostalgic and energetic atmosphere that will transport attendees back to a decade of iconic music and memories.
“This year, the Panthers are embracing a nostalgic nod to the nineties, with the first quarterback-turned-head coach Frank Reich and the return of the first head coach Dom Capers to the staff,” said Josh Klein, Editor-In-Chief of Roaring Riot. “In sync with this theme, Roaring Riot has incorporated the same spirit into the Riot, from the new gear this season to the incredible bands headlining the Kickoff Jam. We genuinely believe that this weekend will be one of the most exhilarating of the year. With the city brimming with optimism, we aim to deliver an unforgettable experience on Saturday, setting the stage for the Panthers to triumph over the Saints on Monday.”
As a special treat for fans, Panthers Legends, including Mike Tolbert, will be in attendance, participating in autograph signings and engaging with the crowd. Each legend will sign autographs for 45 minutes. Guests will be allowed to bring one item for autograph signing, and additional items will be available for purchase on-site. After their autograph sessions, the legends will also mingle with fans in the VIP area, creating memorable interactions for attendees.
Football enthusiasts will have the opportunity to showcase their skills at the football activation stations, where they can test their accuracy by kicking field goals and throwing spirals to see if they’re as accurate as Bryce Young.
Food trucks will be stationed throughout the event, offering a diverse selection of local eats. Additionally, Noda Brewing will be pouring their award-winning beer throughout the day.
