Patagonia is finally coming to the Carolinas!
They plan on opening their first North Carolina store in South End, in the former Byron’s South End location (180 W Worthington Ave), according to the Charlotte Business Journal.
The outdoor clothing brand recently started a new Instagram handle for the South End store, called @patagoniacharlotte.
They also recently posted a job listing for a retail manager in North Carolina on their website’s official career page.
Patagonia’s current CEO, Ryan Gellert is a UNC Charlotte alum, graduation from the school back in 1994 with a degree in finance.
The upscale outdoor clothing brand was originally founded in 1973 and currently operates 36 stores in 21 states across the nation.
