Carolina Panthers’ safety Jeremy Chinn and UnitedHealthcare will once again team up with Charlotte Family Housing, this time for an evening of back-to-school fun for local families. Chinn and UnitedHealthcare volunteers will serve up dinner then help pre-registered families shop for school supplies and enjoy fun and summer games to get them moving.
The initiative is thanks to a $15,000 donation from UnitedHealthcare to the Jeremy Chinn Foundation, which provides families experiencing homelessness and individuals with the support they need to build a positive future. The partnership is part of UnitedHealthcare’s ongoing commitment to address social determinants of health, through additional resources to families in need of extra help as they transition from homelessness to housing.
The event will be held at St. Johns Baptist Church 300 Hawthorne Ln, Charlotte NC 28204 this coming Wednesday, July 19 starting at 6pm.
