Panthers Go 0-3 After Yesterday’s 37-27 Loss to The Seahawks

The Panthers are grappling with a slew of issues, with their 0-3 standing possibly being the least of our concerns this season.

We suffered a 37-27 loss to the Seahawks yesterday afternoon in Seattle, with a decent showing from our offense, but steady struggles from our defense.

Walker was decent, especially when Seattle’s offense found it tough to gain traction for the first three quarters. His 36-yard reception in the third quarter was a precursor to his 1-yard touchdown run, providing a glimmer of hope amidst Seattle’s previous field goal settlements. Dalton also showed promise, completing 34-of-58 for 361 yards and two touchdowns.

The running game remained a weak link with Miles Sanders limited to 24 rushing yards, albeit with a touchdown in the second half. Even the reliable kicker, Eddy Piñeiro, faltered, missing a 55-yard field goal in the second half, breaking his streak of 25 straight made field goals.

The Panthers also struggled with the roaring Seattle crowd, accumulating seven offensive false starts during the game.

Here are yesterday’s highlights from the defeat:

The Panthers are now set to host Minnesota next Sunday at Bank of America Stadium in Uptown.
