Yesterday afternoon, the Carolina Panthers suffered a 42-21 loss to the Miami Dolphins, pushing our season record to 0-6 – the first time we’ve seen a record that bad since 1998.
Starting strong, the Panthers took an early 14-0 lead in the second quarter, with Chuba Hubbard scoring a touchdown and Bryce Young delivering a touchdown pass to Adam Thielen. However, this momentum was short-lived as the Dolphins responded with a staggering 35 unanswered points.
Bryce Young’s performance was a silver lining, as he completed 23-of-38 passes for 217 yards, showing potential especially in the first half. The Panthers’ game was further marred by injuries, notably to Laviska Shenault Jr., who had to be carted off the field, and Yetur Gross-Matos.
The Panthers now head into their bye week, hoping to regroup and address their challenges.
