Former President Donald Trump has just announced plans to come to Charlotte this coming Wednesday for a campaign rally.
Campaign officials just confirmed that the rally will take place at the Bojangles Coliseum on East Independence Boulevard on July 24 at 06:00 pm (doors will open at 2:00 pm). This will be the second rally to take place since the July 13th assassination attempt.
Trump and his new running mate, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, plan to hold rallies across several battleground states next week, including Michigan, Ohio, and Virginia.
Both Trump and President Joe Biden are now focusing on North Carolina, a key swing state where Trump had his slimmest victory margin in 2020.
Trump last visited the Charlotte area on Memorial Day for the Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
You can register for up to two tickets this Wednesday’s rally in Charlotte here.
