Charlotte Selected As Official Host City of 2026 National Curling Championships

USA Curling has officially announced that Charlotte will be the host city for the 2026 National Curling Championships. The iconic competitions are scheduled to take place from February 23 to March 2, 2026 at the Bojangles Coliseum.

Curling has seen a surge in popularity around the Charlotte region, with the opening of the Charlotte Curling Association and Center, and Charlotte recently hosting the Grand National Curling Club Mixed Championship.

The upcoming 2026 National Curling Championships will feature eight men’s and eight women’s teams who earned their spots through the World Curling Team Ranking System and other qualifying events throughout the season. This will be the first time Charlotte hosts a major national curling championship.

“We’re thrilled to bring elite-level curling to Charlotte. We’re confident that our sports-minded community will embrace it, and look forward to helping grow the sport in Charlotte and North Carolina,” said Visit Charlotte manager Amanda Morgan in a press release.
