North Carolina Ranked As Having One The Lowest Uninsured Rates For 2019

With the national uninsured rate back on the rise, growing to 8.5% in 2018 from 7.9% in 2017, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its report on 2019’s Uninsured Rates by State.

WalletHub compared the rates for all 50 states, in addition to a breakdown by age, race/ethnicity and income level.

According to their report, North Carolina ranked among the worst in the nation at #42, and South Carolina came in just 2 spots higher at #40;
