Investigators are working to determine the cause of the Novant Health helicopter crash, and officials have not yet provided further details.
Last night’s incident comes amid heightened concerns over aviation safety following several recent crashes across the U.S. Earlier this month, a medical jet crashed in Philadelphia, killing seven, while a single-engine plane crash near Nome, Alaska, resulted in ten fatalities. Additionally, a jet collision in Arizona killed one person, and a crash in Toronto left over a dozen injured.
