The highly anticipated Charlotte StrEATs Festival is back for another year, ready to celebrate the vibrant culinary landscape of the Queen City! Returning as part of Charlotte SHOUT!, the festival features StrEATs Uncorked, StrEATs Tasting Tour, and the Charlotte StrEATs Festival.
The multi-day festival has become a haven for food and beverage enthusiasts and shows off Charlotte as a culinary destination. Kristen Wile of Unpretentious Palate and Casey Wilson of Carben Events + Marketing have once again partnered with Charlotte SHOUT! to produce the event.
“While Charlotte’s food scene has grown to rival any other Southeastern city’s, we felt there wasn’t an event focused solely on highlighting the incredible local and independent restaurants here. Our hope when dreaming up this event was to fill that gap with the Charlotte StrEATs Festival,” Wile says. “We’re proud to help give Charlotte a food festival worthy of the chefs and mixologists who are part of it and are excited to show off our culinary scene for a fourth year. “

Charlotte StrEATs Tasting Tour | Saturday, April 12th from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. (Gateway Village, 900 W. Trade St.)
Taste your way through Charlotte’s iconic neighborhoods at the StrEATs Tasting Tour! This ticketed, 21+ event includes tastes from locally-owned restaurants from all around the city, cooking demonstrations, craft cocktails created by your favorite Charlotte mixologists, and live music. Participating restaurants to be announced next month!

The FREE festival will feature the area’s top local food and beverage vendors, food trucks, cooking demos, art, and more. We will also have wristbands available for purchase to participate in our popular craft cocktail tasting. Wristbands will go on sale in March.
StrEATs is also bringing back the Neighborhood Cook-off! These battles will pit chefs head-to-head in a cook-off to win the title of StrEATs Neighborhood Champion.
