Kendrick Lamar recently booked Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium as part of his “Grand National Tour.”

His tour kicked off with his now legendary Super Bowl LIX halftime show last month, and features Grammy-winning R&B singer SZA as the opening act.

Lamar’s upcoming Charlotte show will coincide with the Lovin’ Life Music Fest, scheduled the same weekend, which is expected to draw around 30,000 festival-goers to the opposite side of uptown.

The “Grand National Tour” is set to make stops in some of the largest venues across North America. Lamar has seen major success this year with three No. 1 hits: “Like That,” “Not Like Us,” and “Squabble Up.” The concert at Bank of America Stadium marks Lamar’s third visit to Charlotte in eight years, following performances at Spectrum Center in 2017 and 2022 during his “DAMN.” and “Big Steppers” tours.

Lamar’s performance is one of several blockbuster concerts coming to the Carolina Panthers’ home stadium in 2025, with Billy Joel and Sting scheduled for May 10, Shakira on May 13, and Metallica on May 31. The announcement adds to an exciting lineup for music lovers in Charlotte, who can expect an action-packed month filled with major performances from some of the biggest names in the industry.
