Tepper Sports & Entertainment (TSE) has promoted Kristi Coleman to CEO, making her responsible for overseeing all business operations and making her one of the highest-ranking females in pro sports.
Coleman, who remains Panthers President, will report directly to TSE owner David Tepper.
“Drawing on more than a decade of experience at this organization, Kristi is a proven leader with the insight and expertise to guide us through this pivotal moment in our evolution,” said Tepper in a press release. “Nicole and I are happy to have her in this expanded role.”

The move is part of a much broader organizational restructuring, including the following changes:
- Chief Revenue Officer: All revenue-producing departments will report to a new Chief Revenue Officer, under Coleman’s leadership.
- Chief Business Officer for Charlotte FC: A new role to lead soccer business operations, replacing the club president. Joe LaBue will transition into a consultant role.
- VP of Premium Sales & Services: David Nelson is promoted to lead premium hospitality and business solutions across Panthers, Charlotte FC, and Bank of America Stadium.
- VP of Venue Operations: Bonnie Almond is promoted, reporting to Chief Venues Officer Caroline Wright, overseeing event operations and safety across TSE venues.
TSE’s goal remains to position the greater Charlotte area as a key destination for year-round sports and entertainment, expanding Bank of America Stadium to host around 40 ticketed events annually.
