Over 40 CMS high school sophomores will showcase their innovative solutions to make Bank of America Stadium operations smarter and safer as well as more secure and sustainable.
The nine-week challenge empowered students to become innovators and problem-solvers, addressing real-world challenges through hands-on learning. This capstone event celebrates the culmination of their hard work and provides a platform for the next generation of leaders to present their ideas to improve the stadium’s operations.
This event will feature presentations from student teams, judging by top Charlotte industry professionals, and remarks from Ikem “Ickey” Ekwonu of the Carolina Panthers, who serves as the program’s Sustainability Champion. The top three winning teams will be announced during the event, with students sharing how they collaborated with Honeywell mentors to bring their ideas to life.
