Justice For All Political Party Officially Recognized in North Carolina

292

The State Board of Elections has officially recognized the Justice For All Party as a political party in North Carolina. This decision follows a court order, expanding voters’ options to nine political parties when registering or updating their registration.

With this recognition, voters can now choose to register with the Constitution, Democratic, Green, Justice For All, Libertarian, No Labels, Republican, or We The People parties. They also have the option to register as unaffiliated. Additionally, voters currently registered with another party or as unaffiliated can switch their affiliation to the Justice For All Party.

Justice For All will have presidential candidate Cornel West and vice-presidential candidate Melina Abdullah on the ballot in the 2024 general election. The State Board has updated voter registration applications to include the new party option. Voters with older forms can still register with Justice For All by selecting “Other” and writing in the party’s name.

This development offers voters in North Carolina another choice in the upcoming elections, reflecting the evolving political landscape in the state.
