Exciting news for everyone in Fort Mill, Ballantyne, and especially Indian Land – we’re about to get a new Target.
The new store will be located opposite the YMCA at CrossRidge, a 190-acre development on 521, near the state line and Ballantyne.
The development, which includes The Exchange at Indian Land, is set to become a prime destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
The addition of Target, occupying 147,000 square feet, is a significant step in the expansion of CrossRidge, which will ultimately offer over 270,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and entertainment space. Construction of the first phase, comprising about 28,000 square feet, is expected to start this year, with more openings planned through 2026.
The site plan for CrossRidge includes a strategically placed Target near CrossRidge Boulevard and World Reach Drive, with additional retail spaces and ample parking. The development’s first phase will feature nine tenant suites and is located along Charlotte Highway. Notably, Serendipity Labs, a co-working company, will join the development in its third phase.
Currently, the closest Target to Indian Land is over 13 miles away in Rock Hill.
