NC is First In Flight, Again – Today We Launched America’s First Autonomous Air Taxi

North Carolina is officially the first in flight…again.

After recording the first human flight back in 1903, today we also became the first state in America to witness an autonomous air taxi flight.

EHang (NASDAQ: EH), an autonomous aerial vehicle (AAV) technology platform company, held the first official demonstration this afternoon with the companies leaders, state officials, and a handful of reporters up in Raleigh.

Governor Cooper ecstatically announced the achievement on Twitter this afternoon, saying; “First in flight — again! Today, North Carolina hosted @ehang for the first autonomous flying taxi demonstration in North America.”
